Description

A pair of classic Colombo 885 Sconces. They are designed as ceiling lights but can also be installed as a wall sconce as well. It provides both direct and indirect light. It comes in black lacquered aluminum and chromium plated stem. Just like the Spider series, these lights have an incredible range of adaptability and functionality. It’s modular nature make this light a timeless piece, still produced by Oluce today.

The visionary and futuristic designer Joe Colombo designed the Colombo lamp in 1970, on the wave of the rapid diffusion of the halogen light. The design is in fact one of the first domestic lamps to use the new type of bulb. The design of the Colombo lamp – base, chrome stem and adjustable reflector – responds to the demands for clean shapes and technological functionality that go hand in hand with the concept and design of this great designer.
