Description
Extremely unique cut steel sculpture of an owl in wonderful abstract form. His work is somewhere between Noguchi and Picasso through a real folk art lens. The bending, welding and cutting of industrial material into whimsical figures is a perfect example of enchanting blue collar craftsmanship. The feathers appear to be floating in space as if it weren’t cut from a single piece of steel. The epitome of what soulful intention in art feels like, this sculpture is without a doubt a true work of art and absolutely one of a kind. Grateful to have pieces like this in the Cave collection.
