Description
Ulrica Hydman-Vallien (1938–2018) has designed many classics for the Swedish glassworks in Åfors, Kosta Boda. One of the most well-known series is Nevada from 1994. It consists of art and utility glass: vases, pots, bowls, dishes, and goblets. They were crafted and decorated by hand with animal motifs in yellow, red, and green colors. The series was in production until 2000.

This beautiful hand-painted large size vessel features motifs of mystic deers that evoke human characteristics in the face. A one of a kind piece with a strong presence. These folk like craft works are special to Sweden, especially through the production of Kosta Boda - who have been creating glass works since 1742.
