A whimsical phallic candle holder, incense device, single stem vase or simply something satisfying to rest your eyes on. A Japanese ceramic folk object. The motifs and designs are splendid - some worn away by the romance of time. Slightly leaning to one side, imperfectly perfect for any occasion. A very unique piece from my journey to Japan. A beautiful piece for your home.
It seems to have lost a piece on the side. Perhaps it was a small ceramic ring to slide your index finger through and quietly investigate the Shoji amidst heavy raindrops.
