Description
A hand sculpted, hollow formed candlestick, this piece has always spoken to me on several different levels. The simple and subtle peeled back sensibility at each of the three openings remind me of sea anemones or pedals of a flower, as if somehow in motion. The graffiti-esque quality of the glaze, with that quick hand, gestural approach. Child like in nature. A candlestick’s candlestick for it carries all the playfulness and detail without sacrificing the function.
